This stuff freaks me out!

Haunted Places in NY

I don't know about you guys - but I have actually been to some of these places!
Eeek.

Anyone know of any around this area, besides the Landmark or 13 curves?

They are having a ghost hunt tonight at 8 - 9pm at the Landmark - for Clarrisa? I think her name is?
I don't think stirring up the unknown (and collecting money for it) is a good idea!! oh man, I've got chills.

Also, I think this one is a safe one (haha) - has anyone ever been to the "Haunted House on the Hill" - 4834 Velasco Road, Syracuse, NY? Is that cheesy, or cool, happening this year, or what?

hahaha - ANDY! There is no such thing as ghosts *whispers that phrase continually to self*

When I used to live up North with my dad - we lived on a plot of land where I believe a house had burned down or fallen down? Something? Well, a few strange things happened while I was living there - one day (I know this is stupid, but we were young teenagers) one of my friends and I were playing with one of those oujia boards (sp) - but we got tired so we went to sleep. We woke up to the sound of my brothers legos falling (or it seemed that they had been pushed) off of the couch - some of the pieces ended up across the room. I'm sure there is a logical explination for it :) like random gravity, or something.
A couple other things happened that we cannot explain too - but I'll save them for some time when I can tell them all eriee like.

There were several indian burial grounds in that area too - my friends had lots of stories.

My friends and I visited Happy Valley on occasion too - one time we were driving through (now this is a drive path through the woods) - the car stalled out, and wouldn't start again - but it ended up that our friend was being a jerk and wasn't pushing in the clutch to start the car. We could have killed him - this was no joking matter.
It's really weird back there though - there are old graveyards (we got out of the car and visited the sites) and an old house that is all boarded up with warning signs all over it - the story is that there was an old community there and everyone died of some fatal disease.
There was also word that there was an active cult in that area - but again, it may have just been a story people told so we wouldn't go out there late at night to have bonfires and drink.
